Mr. Frankie-m Lai began his ballet training with Ms Agnes Huang at Jean M. Wong School of Ballet when he was nine. In 1988, he received scholarships from the Alliance Franςaise, to further his studies in France. In 1992, he was the first runner-up at the Youth Dance Competition in Bordeaux, France.
Mr. Frankie-m Lai joined Hong Kong Ballet in 1993 and was promoted to Senior Soloist in 2002. In 2007, he joined Suzhou Science & Culture Arts Centre (SSCAC) Ballet Theater as Principal dancer & dancers’ captain, and promoted to assistant ballet master. Now he made his way back with his wife to Hong Kong and starts his teaching career.
