Reader Ship is a place to provide rich, child-centered, literacy-focused programs toensure that all children are happy to learn, are self-motivated to learn and are learning for their own good. The programs provide key experiences, focusing on language and progressive literacy development for children of kindergarten and primary levels.

Children are encouraged to become life-long learners. Teachers mentor children essential language and cognitive skills and cultivate interest and confidence in learning. Teachers act upon the belief that all children can learn, and treat all children impartially. Teachers insprie children to be curious, tolerant, honest, fair, and to respect diversity. Teaching practices include the celebration of developmental accolmplishments, and children are protected from inapproatiate disapproval, teasing, meaningless comparison and punishment.
