User Commands ezmlm-sub(1) NNNNAAAAMMMMEEEE ezmlm-sub - manually add addresses to a mailing list SSSSYYYYNNNNOOOOPPPPSSSSIIIISSSS eeeezzzzmmmmllllmmmm----ssssuuuubbbb [ -HHHHmmmmMMMMnnnnNNNNvvvvVVVV ][ -hhhh _h_a_s_h ] _d_i_r [ _b_o_x@@@@_d_o_m_a_i_n [ _n_a_m_e ] ... ] DDDDEEEESSSSCCCCRRRRIIIIPPPPTTTTIIIIOOOONNNN eeeezzzzmmmmllllmmmm----ssssuuuubbbb adds each address _b_o_x@@@@_d_o_m_a_i_n to the mailing list stored in _d_i_r. _n_a_m_e is added as a comment to the subscrip- tion log, if the -nnnn switch is used. If no argument is given on the command line, eeeezzzzmmmmllllmmmm----ssssuuuubbbb processes stdin. If _b_o_x@@@@_d_o_m_a_i_n is already on the mailing list, eeeezzzzmmmmllllmmmm----ssssuuuubbbb leaves it there and does not modify the subscription log. eeeezzzzmmmmllllmmmm----ssssuuuubbbb converts _d_o_m_a_i_n to lowercase before adding _b_o_x@@@@_d_o_m_a_i_n to the mailing list. _b_o_x@@@@_d_o_m_a_i_n cannot be longer than 400 characters (255 charac- ters with mysql support). GGGGEEEENNNNEEEERRRRAAAALLLL OOOOPPPPTTTTIIIIOOOONNNNSSSS -nnnn Assume arguments are pairs of _b_o_x@@@@_d_o_m_a_i_n and _n_a_m_e (or other subscriber info) rather than addresses alone. eeeezzzzmmmmllllmmmm----ssssuuuubbbb((((1111)))) will add the first argument in each pair to the subscriber list. If it is a new address, _n_a_m_e will be added to the subscription log. -NNNN (Default.) Arguments are all addresses of the type _b_o_x@@@@_d_o_m_a_i_n. -vvvv Display eeeezzzzmmmmllllmmmm----ssssuuuubbbb((((1111)))) version information. -VVVV Display eeeezzzzmmmmllllmmmm----ssssuuuubbbb((((1111)))) version information. MMMMYYYYSSSSQQQQLLLL OOOOPPPPTTTTIIIIOOOONNNNSSSS These option is silently ignored in the absence of mysql support. -hhhh _h_a_s_h With mysql support the argument is used as the hash. The argument should be between 1 and 99. The hash is used in in the distribution of addresses between sub- lists. As the hash is normally between 0 and 52, con- trolling the hash makes it possible to add addresses that cannot be manipulated remotely. -mmmm (Default.) Use SQL support if available. SunOS 5.11 Last change: 1 User Commands ezmlm-sub(1) -MMMM Do not use SQL support even if available. This option can be used to build a normal local subscriber database even for lists with SQL support. Use in combination with eeeezzzzmmmmllllmmmm----lllliiiisssstttt((((1111)))) to convert an SQL address db to a ezmlm standard address database.
