The \fByes\fR utility repeatedly outputs \fBy\fR, or if \fIterm\fR is specified, \fIterm\fR is output repeatedly. In the output, either \fBy\fR or \fIterm\fR is followed by a NEWLINE. Multiple arguments are output separated by spaces and followed by a NEWLINE. To terminate \fByes\fR, issue an interrupt character.

\fByes\fR can be used to respond programatically to programs that require an interactive response.
