     qmail-local - deliver or forward a mail message

SSSSYYYYNNNNOOOOPPPPSSSSIIIISSSS
     qqqqmmmmaaaaiiiillll----llllooooccccaaaallll [ -nnnnNNNN ]  _u_s_e_r  _h_o_m_e_d_i_r  _l_o_c_a_l  _d_a_s_h  _e_x_t  _d_o_m_a_i_n
     _s_e_n_d_e_r _d_e_f_a_u_l_t_d_e_l_i_v_e_r_y

DDDDEEEESSSSCCCCRRRRIIIIPPPPTTTTIIIIOOOONNNN
     qqqqmmmmaaaaiiiillll----llllooooccccaaaallll reads a mail message and delivers it to _u_s_e_r  by
     the procedure described in ddddooootttt----qqqqmmmmaaaaiiiillll((((5555)))).

     The message's envelope recipient  is  _l_o_c_a_l@_d_o_m_a_i_n.   qqqqmmmmaaaaiiiillll----
     llllooooccccaaaallll  records  _l_o_c_a_l@_d_o_m_a_i_n  in  a  new DDDDeeeelllliiiivvvveeeerrrreeeedddd----TTTToooo header
     field.   If  exactly  the  same  DDDDeeeelllliiiivvvveeeerrrreeeedddd----TTTToooo::::  _l_o_c_a_l@_d_o_m_a_i_n
     already  appears in the header, qqqqmmmmaaaaiiiillll----llllooooccccaaaallll bounces the mes-
     sage, to prevent mail forwarding loops.

     The  message's  envelope  sender  is  _s_e_n_d_e_r.    qqqqmmmmaaaaiiiillll----llllooooccccaaaallll
     records _s_e_n_d_e_r in a new RRRReeeettttuuuurrrrnnnn----PPPPaaaatttthhhh header field.

     _h_o_m_e_d_i_r is the user's home directory.  It must be  an  abso-
     lute directory name.

     _d_a_s_h and _e_x_t identify the ....qqqqmmmmaaaaiiiillll_d_a_s_h_e_x_t file used by  qqqqmmmmaaaaiiiillll----
     llllooooccccaaaallll; see ddddooootttt----qqqqmmmmaaaaiiiillll((((5555)))).  Normally _d_a_s_h is either empty or a
     lone hyphen.  If it is empty, qqqqmmmmaaaaiiiillll----llllooooccccaaaallll  treats  a  nonex-
     istent  ....qqqqmmmmaaaaiiiillll_e_x_t  the  same  way  as  an  empty  ....qqqqmmmmaaaaiiiillll_e_x_t:
     namely,   following    the    delivery    instructions    in
     _d_e_f_a_u_l_t_d_e_l_i_v_e_r_y.

     The standard input for qqqqmmmmaaaaiiiillll----llllooooccccaaaallll must be a seekable  file,
     so that qqqqmmmmaaaaiiiillll----llllooooccccaaaallll can read it more than once.

OOOOPPPPTTTTIIIIOOOONNNNSSSS
     -nnnn   Instead of reading and delivering the message, print  a
          description of the delivery instructions.

     -NNNN   (Default.) Read and deliver the message.

EEEEXXXXIIIITTTT CCCCOOOODDDDEEEESSSS
     0 if the delivery is completely successful; nonzero  if  any
     delivery  instruction  failed.  Exit code 111 indicates tem-
     porary failure.
